How to reach Kalpa?
Kalpa is well connected by road to Shimla. You can opt to take a bus or car to reach Kalpa from Shimla. Government buses leaves daily from Shimla to Kalpa that can be your budget option. If you want comfort, then you can hire a chauffeur driven car to Kalpa. Another alternative is to a self-drive rental from Chandigarh and drive here.
Where to stay in Kalpa?
Kalpa has few hotels and many home-stays. We have spent two nights and once we stayed in a hotel and another in a home-stay. Our both experience was very cozy so you can chose any. We stayed in Fort-view Homestay very nice place with a good view as well as The Village View Home Stay good view and homely atmosphere.
Where to eat in Kalpa?
There are no good restaurant here, you can try dining in at Echor. So your best bet will be to eat at your home-stay or hotels restaurants. The only 2-3 restaurants are not upto the mark and not cheap either, trust us on this.
How long to stay in Kalpa?
Our suggestion would be to stay 2 nights in this village that way you can explore all the nooks and corners. You won’t get bored if you extend for a day or two but you’ll definitely miss our if you are planning a night stay here.
